ITS Integra relies on Interxion to support its multi-cloud operator transition

January 14, 2020

A long-lasting partnership based on proximity and trust

Since 2013, Interxion has been ITS Integra's main colocation partner. The partnership began with an initial project to migrate multiple data centres to PAR5 and PAR7 sites, which was successfully deployed. Since then, the relationship between the two companies has evolved: Interxion provides its Cloud Connect service, which enables ITS Integra to interconnect directly with major public cloud players, including Microsoft Azure, from a single secure physical connection.

"The excellent relationship we have with Interxion is a key element. The teams are supporting us on a daily basis as we transition to a multi-cloud operator," said Jan Gabriel, Director of Alliances & Marketing, Managed Services and Cloud Services, ITS Integra.

Security, a key element for ITS Integra clients

ITS Integra's role is to guarantee its customers an exemplary quality of service, and everything relies on the reliability of Interxion's data centers. Physical security (access, networks, etc.), cooling and electrical redundancy are fully provided by Interxion, allowing ITS Integra to focus on the layers of security for which they are responsible: firewalls, WAN/LAN access, application filtering, anti-DDOS, authentication and traceability, as well as intra and inter data center redundancy.

"We are committed to taking into account the entire production chain, but for this we need a reliable service base. The management of requests or maintenance is exemplary and transparency of information is essential for us and our customers," adds Jan Gabriel.

For several years now, ITS Integra has made the Healthcare sector a priority growth area, particularly with the latest HDS certification obtained at the beginning of the year. The security and reliability of data centers, as evidenced by the certifications and standards obtained by Interxion, are essential. The first phase of accreditation and then HDS certification includes strict prerequisites and management policies.

"This strategic positioning would not have been possible without a partner such as Interxion at our side, which has been awarded HDS approval as early as 2014," added Gabriel.

Interxion's presence in Marseille for a denser territorial coverage

ITS Integra has joined the Marseille hub to have a more extensive foothold in France and to offer new services to their clients.

"Today, we are proud to support ITS Integra in its transition to a multi-cloud operator, both in Paris and Marseille. The reduction of energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions associated with digital services has become a major concern, which is why it was important for ITS Integra to rely on eco-responsible data centres," said Fabrice Coquio, President of Interxion France.
