ITS Ibelem, ITS Group's Mobility & Networking specialist, has won O2's call for tenders for the implementation of an EMU solution capable of managing the company's IOS and Android terminals.
The main brand of the Oui Care group, O2 is the French leader in personal services. Today, with a turnover of €335 million and 18,000 employees, ITSAP, the IT division of O2, manages a fleet of 14,000 mobiles + 400 tablets.
The majority of the Ouicare group's brands, spread over 300 branches, equip each employee with a mobile phone. The phone is enrolled via ZTP on the current Mobileiron MDM and then handed over to the employee personally.
This allows them to deploy their 2 business applications as soon as the phone is switched on:
- O2 et moi : remote management software (scan at the beginning/end of the service at the customer's premises)
- Nomad: dematerialisation of the customer visit and electronic signature of the contract
Already an ITS Ibelem customer, O2 wished to challenge the market in order to deploy a new solution that would meet the needs of personal mobile use and future BYOD use. In addition, it was desirable that this same solution should also be able to manage a fleet of around 2000 traditional workstations.
ITS Ibelem was able to demonstrate in its response to this new call for tenders that the solution MobileIron used for 3 years within the group was also capable of meeting the new needs of BYOD and Modern Management by integrating the workstations through the IVANTI UEM solution, which acquired MobileIron at the end of last year.
We therefore retain the customer's confidence and are extending the experiment with the renewal and acquisition of 14,500 licences until October 2024.
Tomorrow, through new acquisitions, the projection of this contract should lead ITS IBELEM to provide +20,000 licenses and lead the entire 02 group to a transition towards the Modern Management of their Windows 10 desktops.
