Emmanuel is an Application Integrator at ITS Group Lyon, but also a relentless athlete. Trailer since 2009 and ultra-trailer since 2013, he has competed with 65 bibs, 10 of which were over 100 km long.
This year he has set himself a new challenge: to complete the mythical Ulta-Trail du Mont-Blanc!
Personal challenge, surpassing oneself, resilience, team spirit, this is how Emmanuel summed up his journey at the UTMB. We can also add solidarity because Emmanuel ran for the benefit of the Fondation Maladies Rares.
The Rare Diseases Foundation is a scientific cooperation foundation that was created in 2012 by representatives of patient associations, public research, and the hospital-university community.
It has a mission of general interest: to accelerate research on all rare diseases, with three main objectives:
- Identify the cause of rare diseases and assist in diagnosis,
- Helping to develop new treatments,
- Improving the daily life of sick people and their families.
We are proud to have been able to help Emmanuel achieve this challenge and to have supported the cause defended by the Fondation Maladies Rares.
