Customer Story] Making an entity's Wi-Fi Network in the United States compliant with Ibelem ITS

September 16, 2020

Stago (€320,015,361 in 2018), a company marketing blood analysers, has entrusted ITS Ibelem, Pure Player in Mobility and Networks, with the compliance of its entity's Wi-Fi Network in the United States.

The topic launched at the beginning of July 2019 aims to improve the global management of the Stago network (more than 110 countries).

"Today all the group's entities use Aruba. Our problem was that there was one exception: the United States," explains Eric Loyau, Technical & Production Director at Stago.

"The biggest constraint was to make Aruba's equipment compatible with another manufacturer's existing telephony installations," said Loyau. ITS Ibelem, working closely with Aruba, proposed to change the network infrastructure of the American sites (Mount Olive, Parsipanny and Toronto) in a single, seamless move by implementing Aruba hardware management services:

- Purchase of equipment for several hundred Switches
- Deployment of equipment
- Hardware Configuration

Stago can thus centralise its entire global network from its Aruba soft management system based in France. "The value of ITS Ibelem was to take charge of the project from A to Z", says Eric Loyau. ITS Ibelem thus managed the project in all organizational, functional and technical dimensions and managed the exchanges with the main actor of this update: Aruba.

In addition to hardware, ITS Ibelem's Network & Wi-Fi services also include the design of wireline and Wi-Fi networks to the most recent standards, the integration and maintenance of the network in operational conditions, and Wi-Fi outsourcing services. "Thanks to the collaboration with ITS Ibelem, it has been a great success because from Monday morning, when everything had been restarted, nobody had seen anything! "reports Eric Loyau.
