ESTACA masters its digital transformation by relying on ITS Integra
L'ESTACA is a post-baccalaureate engineering school specializing in new forms of mobility and, more generally, in all areas of transportation. As one of the best French engineering schools, it is based on its presence on 3 sites (Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Laval and Bordeaux) and brings together more than 2,000 students. They are strongly committed to innovation in the field of transport, with a focus on sustainable development.
Schools like ESTACA face several challenges when it comes to transforming their Information System. The main one is the quality of service and data security, for at least three distinct populations on a daily basis: the students, the teaching staff, and the administrative staff. It is not always easy to propose satisfactory solutions to all users, especially since IT teams are usually rather small.
ITS Integra's expertise
For several years now, ESTACA has been calling on ITS Integra's expertise to carry out its structural projects, while ensuring day-to-day operations and user services. Initially called in as a backup to help finalize a particularly complex infrastructure migration, ITS Integra was able to find an optimal way to become the "armed wing" of ESTACA's IT department.
A team provides local support and ongoing operation of the IS on site. It is supported by a pool of experts who regularly intervene on critical subjects as consultants and/or project/program managers. These experts have a thorough knowledge of the environments and applications in the specific context of the school. Thanks to this organization, ESTACA can serenely face the necessary IS evolutions.
