Given the critical environmental and social situation, whose effects are now evident on a global scale (climate change, scarcity of natural resources, increasing global population, more severe and frequent natural disasters, etc.) sustainable development appears to be a credible solution in the eyes of the various players worldwide (States, Companies, Communities, etc.) to ensure responsible and egalitarian use of the planet’s natural resources and preserve them for future generations.
ITS Group is aware of the challenges of the new millennium and respects the universal values implemented by the CSR policy. For these reasons, the Group has chosen to integrate sustainable development as a core component of its strategy. ITS Group is determined to take a responsible approach to all of its activities, as well as in personnel management and the Group's impact on the environment.
This corporate social responsibility policy is a major issue for ITS Group, and a challenge that requires the Company’s employees to combine their efforts and to create true corporate synergies.
Launched in 2009, the internal CSR campaign called "IT’S Green" brings to the attention of ITS Group personnel a number of simple and practical steps that they can take in their daily working lives. These steps are related to the three main aspects of sustainable development. The aim of “IT’S Green” is to create awareness on environmental issues related to IT use, focusing on the small changes that constitute the foundations for a long-term sustainable approach, alongside measures with a greater impact.
